In October 2025, Bollywood actress Natasha Bharadwaj found herself in the spotlight once again, this time for her collaboration with renowned Indian rapper Badshah. The two had joined forces for Badshah's latest music video, "Kokaina," a high-octane track that has been making waves across the country.
Natasha, who had previously impressed audiences with her performance in the acclaimed series Mumbai Diaries 26/11, was thrilled to be a part of the project. "The moment I heard the track, I was sold," she recalls. "Badshah always creates such iconic songs, and Kokaina had that same vibe. I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of it."
The music video, which brims with urban swag and powerful, contemporary choreography, showcases Natasha's versatility as a dancer. Despite her classical training in Bharatanatyam, which she has practiced for over 20 years, the actress was able to adapt to the demands of the song's choreography. "That classical base really helps me adapt to other dance forms, and I always try to use that to my advantage," she explains.
The two-day shoot was a whirlwind of activity, but Natasha and the entire team were fueled by their passion for their craft. "It was super quick, yet everyone was so focused and having fun because we all genuinely love what we do," she says. The actress's favorite memory, however, came after the cameras stopped rolling. "Once we wrapped, the whole team went out for chole bhature," she laughs. "I'd been on a strict diet with almost no carbs, so that meal hit differently! It was raining, we were all tired yet happy, and just sitting together, enjoying chole bhature after an intense two-day shoot -- it was the perfect ending."
