He advocated for better compensation, leading to producers beginning to offer payments for film and ad work, which then set a precedent for others in the industry.
Before advocating for these changes, Khan sought and received permission from Gauri Khan. He also expressed skepticism about monthly salaries reaching Rs 8-10 lakh, emphasizing that high personal payments by celebrities are distinct from standard industry compensation structures. Khan later founded YK PROSEC, a VIP protection and event security firm.
