Gaya's administration is set to host the three-day Bodh Mahotsav, ensuring wide publicity through live webcasting on social media. The festival will showcase a diverse range of cultural performances, featuring international troupes from Thailand, Laos, Sri Lanka, and Japan, complemented by over 100 local artists. Bollywood singers will also grace the event.
The Mahotsav promises a rich experience with a fashion show highlighting Magadh's textile traditions and crafts. A food fair will offer delicacies from various districts and states, while a Gram Shree Mela will display handicrafts from different regions. An exhibition will also be presented, detailing public welfare schemes from 10 government departments.
Further enriching the festivities, a Mahila Mahotsav will include singing, talk shows, dance, martial arts, and other contests. For attendee safety, more than 200 CCTV cameras have been installed, a control room is operational, and magistrates with police personnel are deployed around the Kalachakra ground.
