Bob's Burgers Joins Streaming Exclusive Club

Bob's Burgers will now offer original installments on streaming platforms, following the lead of The Simpsons and Family Guy. Creator Loren Bouchard announced a new holiday short, "On the Fort Day of Christmas," which will premiere exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally during the upcoming holiday season. This special will focus on the Belcher children creating a snow fort amidst a significant Christmas snowstorm.

The series' studio, 20th Television Animation, has been distributing surplus episodes to streaming services as its broadcast network, Fox, has reduced season orders. While The Simpsons and Family Guy have already been producing exclusive content for Disney+ and Hulu, Bob's Burgers is only now venturing into this format.

Bob's Burgers, which centers on the Belcher family and their hamburger restaurant in New Jersey, is expected to premiere its 17th season on Fox in mid-2027. The show will continue to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S.
