Bobby Deol: Vijay is a grounded superstar

Bobby Deol recently spoke about his experience filming "Jana Nayagan" alongside Tamil superstar Vijay. Deol described Vijay as an "incredibly grounded" and quiet person, noting that his immense fame necessitates that much of his work, including "Jana Nayagan," be shot on studio lots to avoid public commotion.

Despite limited direct interaction due to language barriers, Deol found Vijay to be very unassuming. He also reflected on the distinct nature of stardom in South India compared to Bollywood, observing that actors are "worshipped" and that the industry stands united. Deol recalled Vijay mentioning a remake of his 1998 film "Soldier," which was later confirmed as Vijay's 2008 film "Villu."
