Blur's drummer, Dave Rowntree, has released a new book titled 'No One You Know,' offering a personal photographic account of the band's formative years. Rowntree, now 62, carried a film camera throughout the early stages of his career with the iconic Britpop group.
He recently shared that reviewing these images, over 1,000 in total, helped him recall many forgotten moments. Approximately 250 photographs made it into the final book, capturing the fun and essence of that period. Rowntree expressed a desire to remember every moment, particularly the smaller details often overlooked.
The book documents what Rowntree describes as a "really happy time" for himself and bandmates Damon Albarn, Alex James, and Graham Coxon. He will also discuss the stories behind these images at Guilfest in July, continuing his enjoyment of film photography in his spare time.
