Vampire Game: Witcher Dev's Dark New RPG

The Blood of Dawnwalker, a new vampire simulator and role-playing game, has launched today. Developed by Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by former directors of The Witcher 3, the game shares similarities in gameplay and graphics with its predecessor.

Players assume the role of Coen, a peasant transformed into a vampire hybrid. The core gameplay revolves around a 30-day in-game countdown to rescue his kidnapped family from a powerful vampire. This time constraint, along with distinct day and night cycles, encourages focused gameplay and exploration.

Despite initial comparisons to The Witcher 3, Dawnwalker carves its own path with a tighter narrative focus and a unique motivation system. The game offers bloody combat, vampiric abilities, and a surprisingly charming narrative, making it a distinct experience within the genre.
