Blake Shelton Trades Stage for Soil: Farm Life Blooms

Blake Shelton is stepping into a new role as a farmer, dedicating himself to cultivating vegetables on his expansive property. He shared his plans via Instagram, detailing the hard work involved in preparing the land for planting.

Shelton, alongside his wife Gwen Stefani, was seen laying plastic to help suppress weeds before planting. Their planned crops include tomatoes, peppers, squash, and cucumbers, with Shelton humorously noting his personal lack of vegetable consumption but enthusiasm for the activity.

A sweet corn patch is also in the works, with Shelton actively preparing the soil. He expressed excitement for the upcoming spring season and the farming endeavor.

The couple owns a significant 1,300-acre farm, a place deeply meaningful to them. It was on this very property that Shelton proposed to Stefani in October 2020, and they later married there.

Stefani has spoken about finding a sense of belonging with Shelton and on the farm. Despite initial hesitations about rural life, she finds Oklahoma's natural beauty captivating and feels at home with her husband.
