According to the contract, Lively was to be paid $1.75 million in "fixed compensation" for her work on the project. Additionally, the deal proposed giving her 10% of the movie's gross proceeds, as well as financial bonuses based on its box office performance and award nominations.
Specifically, the contract stated that Lively would receive an extra $75,000 if she earned a Golden Globes nomination for her performance, and $200,000 if she won the award. She would also be paid $50,000 for a SAG Award nomination and $75,000 if she secured the acting prize.
As for the Oscars, the contract offered Lively a potential $100,000 for a nomination and $200,000 if she won the prestigious award. However, the film ultimately did not receive any of these nominations following its release.
