Blake Griffin, a six-time NBA All-Star, is embarking on a new career phase with a weekly late-night talk show titled "The Stepback with Blake Griffin." This venture is set to premiere on October 20, coinciding with the NBA season's start, and will be available on Prime Video and YouTube. The show will feature Griffin seated at a desk, engaging in discussions about significant topics within the sports world and broader society, such as Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) regulations, political divisions, and the funding of sports stadiums.

Griffin's inspiration for the show stems from his appreciation for popular late-night programs like "The Daily Show" and "Last Week Tonight." He aims to put his unique perspective on the genre. This initiative follows his prior forays into comedy, including a series with Funny or Die and appearances on "Broad City." Episodes for "The Stepback" have already been taped before a live audience and are undergoing post-production, with new installments released every Tuesday.
