The nominations for the 10th annual Black Reel TV Awards, also known as the Bolts, were revealed today. Marvel's "Ironheart" leads the field with an impressive 10 nominations, closely followed by ABC's "Abbott Elementary" with nine. "Abbott Elementary" has now become the most-nominated series in Bolts history, amassing a total of 54 nominations.
Netflix emerged as the leading network and platform with 35 nominations. HBO secured 20 nods, with Hulu and ABC close behind with 17 and 14 respectively. Notably, actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II made history by being nominated for both Lead Performance in a Comedy Series and Lead Performance in a Drama Series in the same year. The Black Reel TV Awards ceremony celebrating television excellence will be held on August 17.
