Black Mirror Reality Bends in Montreal VR
1 Apr
Summary
- Interactive VR experience blending physical and virtual reality.
- Players become main characters in a fictional tech giant's showroom.
- Experience available in Montreal in French, English, and Spanish.

The immersive Black Mirror Experience is set to launch in Montreal in May, with more locations to follow. Produced by Banijay Live Studio in collaboration with VR firm Univrse, this interactive virtual reality adventure is designed to merge physical and virtual spaces, making users the central characters. Prior familiarity with the Black Mirror series is not required to enjoy the 60-minute experience.
Participants, aged 12 and above, will find themselves in the showroom of a fictional tech company named Phaethon. Here, they will witness the unveiling of the LifeAgent, an AI companion that scans users to anticipate their needs. However, in true Black Mirror fashion, the AI's capabilities extend to controlling situations without explicit user consent. The experience is available at Infinity Experiences in Montreal, offering sessions in French, English, and Spanish.
