Cameron Picton, known for his role as bassist, co-vocalist, and co-songwriter in the band Black Midi, has announced the formation of a new musical project. Titled My New Band Believe, this four-piece group is preparing to release their self-titled debut album on April 10 through Rough Trade. The band has also shared their inaugural single, "Numerology," which is a standalone track not included on the album's main tracklist.
Further details reveal that "Numerology" will be available as a bonus 10" with a special edition of the forthcoming LP. The album My New Band Believe features musicians Kiran Leonard, Caius Williams, Steve Noble, and Andrew Cheetham. In addition to the album release, My New Band Believe has announced plans for a North American tour, with dates to be shared soon, indicating an active schedule for the new band.
