Independent Artist Group and Bellevue Productions jointly represent Matisse Haddad's "Best Seller," which received an impressive 48 mentions, making it the highest-ranked script.
The Black List itself featured a total of 74 scripts penned by 86 writers, meticulously selected from nearly 500 film executives. Management companies Kaplan/Perrone and Untitled Entertainment notably tied for first place, each securing seven mentions for their represented screenplays. Kaplan/Perrone's top script, "Fixation" by Siena Butterfield and Erika Vázquez, garnered 25 mentions.
Untitled's highest-ranking script, "Building Bowie" by Alan Fox, earned 23 mentions. This year also highlighted six talented writers who appeared on the list without agency or management representation, underscoring the diverse avenues through which compelling stories emerge in Hollywood.
