5 Feb
Summary
- New album 'Peaches!' by The Black Keys set for May 1 release.
- Album inspired by singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach's father's illness.
- The Black Keys describe the album as their most natural since debut.

The Black Keys are releasing their latest album, titled "Peaches!", on May 1 via East Eye Sound/Warner. This 10-track album is being presented as the band's most natural sound since their 2002 debut, "The Big Come Up".
The impetus for "Peaches!" came during a difficult personal time for singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach, whose father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Auerbach shared that the recording sessions were initially just jamming, a primal release of raw emotion and a way to cope with grief and stress.
This new album follows their 2025 release, "No Rain, No Flowers," and marks their 14th overall studio effort. The lead single, "You Got to Lose," has been accompanied by a music video directed by E.J. McLeavey-Fisher, featuring the duo performing at Hernando's Hide-A-Way in Memphis.
