Birmingham Royal Ballet Celebrates City

Birmingham Royal Ballet has launched a new photographic series, 'Our City, Your Ballet,' showcasing its strong connection to its home city. The striking images, taken by local photographer Clive Booth, feature company dancers in and around Birmingham's well-known locations.

These visuals are set to be displayed throughout the city in the coming weeks, emphasizing the ballet company's pride in carrying Birmingham's name globally. Established in Birmingham in 1990 by Sir Peter Wright, the company blends classical works with contemporary productions.

The initiative aligns with significant upcoming events, including celebrations for Sir Peter Wright's centenary. These festivities will feature a gala performance at Birmingham Hippodrome on June 18, followed by other notable performances on June 19 and 20.
