The cancellation was due to a diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus, a neurological condition impacting his hearing, vision, and balance. Joel is currently undergoing physical therapy as advised by his doctors.
Fans who missed the sold-out main event can attend a live rehearsal show at City Winery on March 11. The Carnegie Hall performance will feature Joel's touring band, including Mark Rivera and Crystal Taliefero, who will back the guest vocalists.
