While Bailey was considered for hosting duties, Claudia Winkleman has been the acclaimed presenter since the show's inception in 2022. She also hosted the celebrity spin-off. Interestingly, Winkleman herself admitted to initially turning down the presenting job, citing a desire to spend more time with her family. However, after watching the original Dutch version, she became eager to join the franchise.
The Traitors and its celebrity edition have achieved significant success for the BBC. The celebrity series finale in December 2025 broke ratings records, drawing 15.2 million viewers and becoming the most-watched show of the year.
