The Producers' Association has mandated actor Biju Menon to compensate Rs 15 lakh to the producers of 'Nadanna Sambhavam'. This directive stems from producer Anoop Kannan's claim of suffering a Rs 25 lakh financial loss. Kannan alleged that Menon's absence from scheduled promotional events caused this setback.
The association proposed that the compensation amount be settled from Menon's remuneration for his current project with producer Listin Stephen. Failure to comply could result in the organization withholding cooperation with the actor.
This controversy emerged after FEFKA General Secretary B Unnikrishnan publicly criticized Menon for skipping promotions, stating a producer lost Rs 25 lakh. Kannan elaborated that despite a 10-day promotion clause in their contract, Menon only participated for two and a half hours on one occasion.
