Reality TV Star Anumol Wins Bigg Boss Malayalam 7, Denies Lavish PR Spending

On November 11, 2025, Anumol, an actor and anchor, was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7, taking home a prize of Rs 42.55 lakh. Shortly after her victory, Anumol addressed rumors about her alleged expenditure on a professional PR campaign, firmly denying claims that she spent Rs 16 lakh for promotional support during her time on the reality show.

In an interview, Anumol explained that she was informed about the PR aspect just before entering the show and was told that all participants receive such support. She initially considered a Rs 15 lakh PR package but ultimately opted for a Rs 1 lakh option, paying Rs 50,000 as an advance and the remaining Rs 50,000 after her win. Anumol reiterated that she does not have the kind of money required for a Rs 16 lakh PR campaign and that the story about the higher amount was inaccurate.

Anumol also commented on the difficulties she faced during her time in the Bigg Boss house, stating that she worked hard to earn the trophy. She acknowledged that she did have PR assistance, like other contestants, but emphasized that she remained genuine throughout the show, without resorting to unnecessary drama.
