The 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) has announced the esteemed jury members who will preside over four key award categories. These include the BIFF Mecenat Award for documentaries, the Sonje Award for short films, the Netpac Award celebrating Asian cinema, and the Fipresci Award for artistic achievement.
A distinguished panel of international jurors, comprising acclaimed filmmakers, critics, and programmers, has been assembled. Their collective expertise spans observational documentaries, short films, and auteur cinema, promising rigorous evaluation of submissions.
The festival is set to run from October 6-15, 2026, in Busan, South Korea. Complementing the film screenings, the 21st Asian Contents & Film Market will convene from October 10-13.
