18 Apr
Summary
- Film collected 17-19 crore on day two.
- Total gross reached 35.31-37.31 crore after two days.
- It surpassed four post-COVID Akshay Kumar films collection.

Priyadarshan's directorial, Bhooth Bangla, has experienced a significant surge at the box office, with early trends indicating a robust performance on its second day. The fantasy horror-comedy, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav, garnered an estimated 17-19 crore on Saturday. This marks a considerable jump from its opening day collection of 14.56 crore (excluding previews).
The film's cumulative net collection in India now stands between 35.31-37.31 crore after two days, inclusive of 3.75 crore from paid previews. This strong performance is attributed to positive word-of-mouth, positioning it favorably against minimal competition and suggesting it is the audience's preferred choice. The movie is projected to comfortably reach the 50 crore mark soon.
Remarkably, Bhooth Bangla has already surpassed the lifetime box office collections of five of Akshay Kumar's post-COVID releases, including Selfiee, Sarfira, Mission Raniganj, and Bell Bottom, within just 24 hours. It is now on the verge of entering his top 10 highest-grossing films of the post-COVID era, set to overtake Bachchhan Paandey's collection of 50.25 crore.
