The horror-comedy, helmed by director Priyadarshan, earned an estimated ₹12.25 crore net on its release day. Combined with ₹3.50 crore net from paid preview screenings, the film’s domestic net collection reached around ₹15.75 crore, surpassing initial trade predictions.
'Bhooth Bangla's' global performance includes an India Gross total of ₹18.90 crore and ₹5 crore from overseas markets. Meanwhile, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' despite its extended run, saw a sharp decline in its 30th week, though its cumulative net total remains substantial at ₹1,105.82 crore.
With its robust opening, 'Bhooth Bangla' now ranks among the top five highest opening day grossers for Akshay Kumar's post-pandemic releases, following 'Sooryavanshi' and 'Housefull 5.'
