Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy, Bhooth Bangla, has achieved significant box office success, marking another hit for the actor after Oh My God 2 and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film, a collaboration with veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, has reportedly grossed Rs 175 crore nett in India and approximately Rs 240 crore globally.
After more than a month in cinemas, Bhooth Bangla continues its steady performance. The movie is slated for an Over-The-Top (OTT) release on June 12, with Netflix acquiring the post-theatrical streaming rights. An official announcement regarding this digital premiere is still awaited.
The ensemble cast of Bhooth Bangla includes Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav, among others. The film was jointly produced by Akshay Kumar, Ektaa Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor.
