Carrying the shining black trophy, he headed straight to the Gorakhnath Temple, where he bowed before Guru Gorakhnath and placed the award at the deity's feet.
In an emotional address, Ravi Kishan dedicated the award to his wife, children, director Kiran Rao, producer Aamir Khan, and the Filmfare organization. He revealed that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had personally called to congratulate him, and his tweet had set social media abuzz.
Reflecting on his journey, the actor-turned-MP said he never let the artist inside him die. "Coming from a small clay house, I once doubted if I could ever win such a big award -- but hard work pays off," he stated. Ravi Kishan also mentioned that his film "Laapataa Ladies" being touted for the Oscars was proof of his success.
Recalling the award ceremony, he shared that when he chanted "Har Har Mahadev" on stage, the entire stadium roared in approval. Ravi Kishan expressed his gratitude to the city of Ahmedabad for showering him with immense love.
