Bhartendu Natya Akademi Celebrates Golden Jubilee

The Bhartendu Natya Akademi marked the culmination of its week-long golden jubilee celebrations on Sunday. The event brought together students, faculty, and theatre enthusiasts to commemorate a significant milestone with enthusiasm and reflection.

Attendees captured memories with selfie corners and creative props, sharing moments of gratitude and affection between students and teachers. The atmosphere was filled with nostalgia as performers honed their craft over years at the institute.

Two notable plays, 'Dutvakyam' and 'Ab Na Banegi Dehri', received widespread applause. 'Dutvakyam,' based on Sanskrit playwright Bhas, explored Lord Krishna's peace mission in Mahabharat. 'Ab Na Banegi Dehri,' adapted from Padma Sachdev's novel, told the story of a widow's resilience and forbidden love.

The celebrations concluded with a reflective tone, fostering pride and inspiration for the future, as smiles, hugs, and photographs were exchanged, cherishing the historic occasion.
