Raghav Juyal's New Comedy Flops Amid Spider-Man Clash

Raghav Juyal's recent comedy film, Bhai Tera Star Hai, has experienced a disappointing performance at the Indian box office. Directed by Vivek B Agrawal, the movie collected only 0.25 crore on its opening Thursday and an equal amount on Friday, bringing its total domestic earnings to 0.5 crore within the first two days.

The film's release was significantly impacted by its direct competition with the highly anticipated Hollywood movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This competitive landscape, coupled with mixed critical reception, has hindered the film's commercial success. Further indicating a lack of audience interest, the number of screens allocated to Bhai Tera Star Hai saw a reduction from 876 on Thursday to 835 on Friday, a nearly 5% decrease.

In contrast, Juyal's previous film, Kill, where he played the antagonist, performed strongly. Kill opened to 1.25 crore and saw a 70% growth on its second day, earning 2.15 crore. Bhai Tera Star Hai, intended as an out-and-out comedy, stars Niharika NM, Sanjay Kapoor, and Niki Walia alongside Juyal.
