Arshad & Jeetu's Contrast Shines in 'Bhagwat'

The crime thriller 'Bhagwat: Chapter One - Raakshas' has marked its first anniversary since its release on ZEE5. Producer Harman Baweja reflected on the film's success, particularly emphasizing the casting of Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar.

Baweja noted that bringing Warsi and Kumar together was a highlight, given their distinct screen personas. Warsi portrayed Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat with depth and honesty, while Kumar explored a darker character, significantly different from his familiar roles. This bold casting choice proved successful, with both actors bringing their characters to life effectively.

The film's reception was overwhelmingly positive, with audiences and critics alike appreciating the performances and the unique pairing. Baweja also acknowledged the support of Jio Studios and ZEE5 in extending the film's reach. He expressed producer satisfaction in seeing a casting vision connect with the audience.
