Saxena on Angoori Bhabhi: Fans Love Characters, Not Actors

Saanand Verma, famous for his role as Saxena in 'Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain,' recently commented on the ongoing comparisons between Shilpa Shinde and Shubhangi Atre for their portrayal of Angoori Bhabhi. Verma explained that in television, audiences tend to connect with and love characters, not necessarily the actors playing them. He believes this is why the character of Angoori has remained popular regardless of who embodies the role. Shilpa Shinde, the original Angoori, returned to the show in December last year, replacing Shubhangi Atre who had played the character for a decade. Verma noted that both actresses performed admirably, with Shilpa's return only adding to the show's excitement. He stressed that comparing artists is unproductive, as each performer brings a unique quality that the audience values for its sincerity.

Actress Vidisha Srivastava, who plays Anita Bhabhi, also shared her experiences working with both actresses. She mentioned having good chemistry with Shubhangi Atre, with whom she worked for four years after joining the show. Srivastava found Shilpa Shinde to be a warm and comfortable co-star, confirming the positive reports about Shilpa's collegial chemistry.
