The 2026 edition of Beyond Fest is set to commence with Lance Oppenheim's Primetime and conclude with Bassam Tariq's Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother. This Los Angeles-based genre festival is scheduled to run from September 23 to October 6.
This year's festival boasts an impressive lineup of 81 films, featuring 10 world premieres and four North American premieres. Attendees can anticipate buzzy titles such as Victorian Psycho, Paper Tiger, and special 35mm screenings of Ken Russell's The Devils. The event will also premiere the latest installment of the horror anthology series, V/H/S/Mixtape.
Beyond Fest will host several special events, including a takeover by Robert Eggers at the Egyptian Theatre, where he will screen his horror films and offer a sneak peek of his upcoming project, Werwulf. Additionally, numerous prominent figures are expected to make in-person appearances, including M. Night Shyamalan, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Michael Mann.
The festival will also present restored and recut screenings of acclaimed films like David Lynch's Wild at Heart and Michael Mann's Miami Vice. Organized in partnership with the American Cinematheque, all proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the latter organization.
