Betty Gilpin has won an Emmy for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her compelling performance in the Apple TV+ series, Widow's Bay. Gilpin portrayed Sarah Westcott Warren, a tragic figure in the horror-comedy. She delivered a memorable acceptance speech, sharing a poem she had written on her phone, which reflected on her acting journey and paid tribute to fellow actors. Gilpin urged her peers to "lean towards Sam Shepard, and less toward Sam Altman."
