Bethenny Frankel has described her decade-long divorce as the most harrowing period of her life, surpassing even the hardships of her childhood involving organized crime figures. Speaking on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, the 55-year-old shared that the prolonged legal battle, which lasted for 10 years, led to significant emotional and physical distress, including hair loss and a deep sense of despair.

Frankel alleged that the divorce proceedings were rife with deceit, including fraud, theft, hacking, harassment, and abuse. She credited her daughter with giving her the strength to endure the torment, noting that the financial cost, while substantial, was secondary to the emotional toll. She powerfully stated, "I literally thought I'll never be happy again."

Drawing from her painful experience, Frankel strongly advised women to secure a "very clear and good prenup" before marriage. She warned that the desire to leave a marriage can be unexpectedly difficult without proper legal protections. Frankel also touched upon co-parenting, emphasizing the importance of never speaking negatively about the other parent in front of a child.
