The 76th Berlin Film Festival, scheduled from February 12-22, has announced additional titles for its prestigious red carpet premieres. Among the highlights is "The Blood Countess," a horror mystery thriller starring Isabelle Huppert as the notorious 16th-century vampire Countess Elizabeth Báthory, directed by Ulrike Ottinger.
Further enhancing the Berlinale Specials program are "The Only Living Pickpocket in New York" and "The Weight," featuring notable actors like John Turturro and Ethan Hawke. The festival will also showcase "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die," a sci-fi comedy with Sam Rockwell, and "The Moment," a mockumentary starring Charli XCX, offering a satirical look at the music industry.
The Panorama section will present diverse works, including feminist films and "Geunyeoga doraon nal" by Hong Sangsoo. The full festival lineup is slated for announcement on January 20, promising a rich cinematic experience.
