Shelton revealed that he and Rodman often send each other videos, frequently featuring dogs. While Rodman recently acquired a dog, Shelton admitted that their comedic tastes don't always align, with neither always finding the other's shared videos amusing.

Looking ahead, Shelton expressed a desire to own multiple large dogs, such as Dobermanns or German Shepherds, once his demanding tennis career and travel schedule permit. He noted that Rodman's current dog is a Dalmatian-Pointer mix.

Rodman herself recounted their initial interaction on a podcast, detailing how she slid into Shelton's DMs with a simple "You're sick, fire emoji," to which he responded within ten minutes.
