Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler have announced that a live album of their rendition of "The Last Five Years" will be released soon. The celebrated musical theater performers shared the news following a special one-night-only performance of Jason Robert Brown's acclaimed musical at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
This new live album captures their performance at the London Palladium. Platt expressed a desire to "immortalize this amazing experience and this incredible score" after their limited engagement concluded. The album is available for pre-order starting today.
The album's release is scheduled for April 20. Platt and Zegler starred as Jamie and Cathy, respectively, in this 25th anniversary staging of the non-linear musical.
