In September 2025, Below Deck star Aesha Scott shared an update about her upcoming wedding to Scott Dobson, which is scheduled for March 2026 in New Zealand. The 33-year-old reality star, who got engaged to Dobson in May 2024, revealed that the guest list for the event is capped at 130 people, and one of her former Below Deck costars, Captain Jason Chambers, will not be in attendance.
Scott explained that she had to make the difficult decision to exclude Chambers due to the limited guest count. She also expressed that she doesn't appreciate the comparisons made between her relationship with Chambers and her relationship with her future husband. Instead, Scott will be celebrating her special day with several other Below Deck costars, including Hannah Ferrier, Anastasia Surmava, Captain Sandy Yawn, and Leah Rae Yawn.
Regarding the wedding planning process, Scott shared that she is not stressed and has already secured a venue, videographer, photographer, and a saxophone-playing DJ. Additionally, the couple has decided to go with a non-traditional menu, featuring all-Thai food, as Scott is "obsessed" with the cuisine. She hopes that if she's a "little bit tipsy" after the afternoon drinks, she can "sit down, [and] slurp up a curry" in "spice heaven."
