Tragedy has struck the reality TV community as Josh Allen, the winner of the 4th season of 'So You Think You Can Dance' in 2008, has passed away at the young age of 37. According to a family member, Allen died on Monday, September 29th, 2025.
In his final Instagram post in July, Allen had paid tribute to the late actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who had tragically drowned while on a family vacation in Costa Rica at the age of 54. Allen's friend and choreographer, Emmanuel Hurd, expressed his heartbreak over the loss, describing Allen as "the life of the party" and "one of the realest people" he had ever met.
Hurd also noted that Allen was now reunited with the late Stephen "tWitch" Boss, the runner-up from Allen's season of 'So You Think You Can Dance', who had passed away by suicide in December 2022 at the age of 40. The dance community is mourning the sudden and untimely loss of this talented and beloved reality TV star.
