Lead producer Lynn Gilman Williams expressed the team's devastation, stating, "We are devastated by the tragic loss of James 'Trapper' McEvoy, a beloved member of the New Orleans film community. The Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office confirmed that McEvoy, whose credits also include "Pitch Perfect" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," died as a result of the electrocution accident.
