Bella Hadid made a striking appearance at Milan Fashion Week on Friday, sporting a fresh new hairstyle complete with a full fringe. The model was seen at the Miss Sixty presentation, opting for a fashionable double denim outfit paired with a white high-neck top and red heels.
This event marks a return to the fashion capital for Milan Fashion Week, which runs until March 2, showcasing Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collections. Hadid, typically a runway regular, has recently taken time off due to her health.
The 29-year-old model has been candid about her 14-year struggle with Lyme disease, a chronic neurological condition. She revealed that the illness necessitated turning down nearly all job offers for close to a year, forcing her to re-evaluate her approach to work and learn the importance of saying "no."
Hadid expressed that her previous work pace was unsustainable and that experiencing a "real life" with her horses and dog has made her return to work more fulfilling. She emphasized that prioritizing her well-being has allowed her to selectively accept opportunities with trusted individuals and organizations.
Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, previously shared a touching tribute on September 18, calling her daughter a "bada** warrior" and acknowledging the immense darkness, pain, and setbacks Bella faced during her treatment. Yolanda commended Bella's bravery and resilience in her fight for health.
Both Bella and her brother Anwar Hadid, along with their mother Yolanda, have battled Lyme disease, which Yolanda contracted in 2012. Yolanda has remained dedicated to finding an affordable cure and previously detailed her extensive treatment journey, including a stem cell transplant and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
