The narrative is inspired by the high-octane action of "The Raid" and the "John Wick" series. It follows Suleyman, who returns home after serving a seven-year prison sentence. He discovers his apartment block has been taken over by drug dealers, drawing him into a violent conflict where his main objective is to protect his mother.
Said Boumazoughe, who co-wrote the script and stars as Suleyman, previously worked on "Desert Warrior." The cast also includes Clara Cleymans, Achmed Akkabi, Jamal Ben Saddik, and Imanuelle Grives. The screenplay was developed by Boumazoughe alongside Sven Huybrechts and Salahdine Ibnou Kacemi.
"Paradise" is produced by Kobe Van Steenberghe, Hendrik Verthé, and Yves Van de Paer of Belgium's A Team Productions, with Jamel Aattache from Dutch company Aattache Film. Financial backing was provided by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund, the Netherlands Production Incentive, Screen Flanders, and the Belgian Tax Shelter.
