Beks Collins: Filming Breakups Adds Heartache

Navigating a breakup is particularly challenging when the experience is captured on camera, according to Made in Chelsea star Beks Collins. The 24-year-old reality favorite described how filming her split from fellow cast member Freddie Knatchbull amplified the heartache, effectively causing her to go through the emotional turmoil twice.

Collins, who joined the show in season 28, noted that while breakups are difficult in normal life, the added presence of cameras and the subsequent airing of the events present a unique layer of pain. She also highlighted the ongoing challenge of encountering an ex-partner within the same social and professional circles, requiring her to maintain composure and professionalism despite personal difficulties.

Beyond her romantic life, Beks has become a fan favorite for her authenticity on screen. She shared that her family home, horses, and her passion for horses, stemming from a childhood spent competing in eventing, offer viewers a glimpse into her broader life. Following her studies at Bristol University and a brief stint in property, Collins pursued yoga instructor training in Bali, indicating a focus on personal well-being.

Collins expressed gratitude for the overwhelmingly positive feedback from viewers regarding her handling of the breakup, with many relating to her experience. She emphasized the importance of strong friendships within the intense environment of reality television. Looking ahead, she is enjoying her time on Made in Chelsea but is open to further television opportunities, even expressing interest in shows like Strictly Come Dancing.
