Legendary Hindustani classical vocalist Begum Parween Sultana is set to perform in Lucknow after an absence of over twenty years. The special concert is scheduled for Friday at Utsav, IIM Lucknow, commencing at 4:30 PM.
This significant musical event is being organized by the IIM Lucknow Heritage Club in association with SPIC MACAY to commemorate the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth's 49th anniversary. Begum Parween Sultana, a distinguished Padma Bhushan recipient, will be joined by Ustad Akram Khan on Tabla, Shriniwas Acharya on Harmonium, and Shadaab Sultana Khan providing vocal support.
The initiative is dedicated to bridging the gap between students and India's classical heritage.
