Beatrice & Eugenie Skip Royal Easter Service
30 Mar
Summary
- Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will miss the traditional Easter service.
- King Charles and Queen Camilla will attend the Easter service.
- The princesses' absence is understood to be with the King's agreement.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have opted out of the Royal Family's customary Easter Sunday church service at Windsor Castle. The sisters, daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, are understood to have made separate arrangements for the holiday.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are confirmed attendees for the Easter Matins service at St George's Chapel. They will be joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, who missed the event last year.
This decision for the princesses' absence from the annual gathering is reportedly made with the King's consent. Last Easter, the entire family attended the service, which is considered a family event.
Recent years have seen significant changes for the family, including Mountbatten-Windsor's relocation and ongoing association with the Epstein scandal. Princess Eugenie recently stepped down as patron of Anti-Slavery International.
