The new proprietor, English model and entrepreneur Gail Thackray, has pledged close to £3 million for a comprehensive restoration, aiming to revive the 'magical' 17th-century property's former splendor. The hotel is slated to reopen in Spring 2026 under the new name, Thackray House.
