The FX on Hulu series 'The Bear' concluded its five-season run with a subtle yet meaningful tribute to the late actor Rob Reiner in its finale, 'The Original Beef of Chicagoland.' During a crucial conversation about franchising the restaurant, line cook Ebra convincingly recruits Carmy to expand their business.
Ebra then contacts their restaurant consultant, Albert, played by Reiner, after finding an ideal location. "Albert, we are in business," Ebra declared, before adding, "As you wish," a direct quote from Westley in the 1987 romance film 'The Princess Bride.' This film was famously directed by Rob Reiner.
Reiner had previously appeared as Albert Schnurr in a three-episode arc during the fourth season of 'The Bear' last year. The actor's son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with the murder of his parents, a case that remains ongoing as investigators continue to gather evidence.
