Beabadoobee Unveils 'Pylon' & New Tour Dates

Singer-songwriter Beatrice Laus, known as Beabadoobee, has revealed her upcoming fourth album, 'Pylon,' scheduled for release on September 18 via Dirty Hit and Interscope Records. This follows her 2024 release, 'This Is How Tomorrow Moves.'

The album's title, 'Pylon,' draws inspiration from electricity towers, symbolizing disconnection during her recent tours. It aptly reflects the LP's intensely thrashing rock sound, which may be her most powerful yet.

To preview the album, Laus released the riff-heavy single "Sun Has Set," a track brimming with grunge-inspired guitars and raw emotion directed at a past relationship. Laus stated the song captures a "petty tunnel vision" and the desire to express unsaid things.

Accompanying the single is a striking music video directed by her partner, Jake Erland, featuring dramatic imagery. The album boasts collaborations with notable artists including Hayley Williams, Brendan Yates, Evan Stephens Hall, Chino Moreno, and Shane Moran.

Laus is set to embark on "The Powerlines" tour, her most extensive to date, featuring her first arena performances. The tour commences on October 1, with stops planned at major venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York, The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and The O2 in London.
