The tribute album features an impressive roster of artists such as Eric Gales, Ledisi, Ann Nesby, and Cory Henry. These musicians aim to reinvigorate the album's tracks while respecting the original recordings' heart and soul.
An event to celebrate the release of the new 'Lucille Talks Back' is scheduled for June 25, 2026, at the New Daisy in Memphis. This free, public event will include live performances and immersive celebrations of B.B. King's life and his significant impact on music.
'Lucille Talks Back,' originally produced by King himself, fused rhythm and soul with his signature blues sound. Despite its creative ambition, the album remained relatively unappreciated and hard to find until now.
