Original Baywatch Duo to Return for New Series

The "Baywatch" reboot is bringing back original series stars Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard. They are scheduled to guest star in the new Fox series, which is set to debut in January 2027.

Bergin and Packard will return as lifeguards Jack "J.D." Darius and April Giminski, respectively. These characters were part of the rookie class alongside Hobie, now played by Stephen Amell. J.D. and April are described as close friends of Hobie and skilled lifeguards familiar with the beach.

Bergin was a main cast member from Seasons 8-11 of the original series and appeared in "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding." Packard was a regular in Seasons 8 and 9. They join other returning original cast members like David Chokachi as Cody Madison and Erika Eleniak as Shauni McClain.

The new "Baywatch" crew will feature newcomers including star Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon. Other cast members include Jessica Belkin, Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Brooks Nader, and Noah Beck.
