Batwara 1947: Deol & Santoshi's highest-grossing collab!

Batwara 1947, the reunion of actor Sunny Deol and director Rajkumar Santoshi after three decades, has achieved a notable milestone by becoming their highest-grossing film together. The period drama has garnered 47.21 crore globally as of its eighth day of release. This achievement is particularly significant as it surpasses their previous collaborations like Ghayal, Damini, and Ghatak.

However, the film's success is tempered by its status as a box office failure. With a substantial budget of 120 crore, Batwara 1947 has only managed to recover 27.5% of its investment. The domestic box office collection for the film has reached 33 crore net after eight days, with an additional 8.25 crore earned overseas.
