EA Pulls Battlefield Hardline From Consoles
24 Mar
Summary
- PS4 and Xbox One versions to be delisted May 22.
- Online services for console versions to end June 22.
- PC version of the game remains unaffected.

Electronic Arts is sunsetting support for console versions of Battlefield Hardline. Owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions will see the game delisted from digital stores on May 22, 2026. Subsequently, online services for these platforms will be terminated on June 22, 2026.
While the multiplayer experience will cease, the single-player campaign will remain playable for those who have purchased the game. Notably, the PC version of Battlefield Hardline is not impacted by this shutdown and will continue to be available on platforms such as Steam and EA's own PC application.
The publisher cited declining player bases as a common reason for ending online support, a practice that has become more prominent recently due to movements like 'Stop Killing Games.'
